What you will learn

The certification focuses on gender equality & inclusion being an integral part of the company's business strategy to ensure that companies can continue to function as strong and competitive companies while providing benefits for both shareholders and society. 

The certification is a digital online and a train-the-trainer education that provides tangible and concrete knowledge of how to transform a company into an equal company and tools for shaping the company's business strategy around gender equality and inclusion.


Following modules are contributing to your learning

Module 1: Why Gender Equality in Business
What is diversity and inclusion and why it matters​

Module 2: The business case and leadership for action 
Why gender equality, diversity and inclusion is good for business, and the importance of good leadership in achieving change.  ​

Module 3: Mastering the WEPs and SDG 5
Learn the structure of the WEPs, SDG 5 and how they correlate to Agenda 2030 and sustainability.​

Module 4: Integrate and Implement 
Learn how to define your business value chain to identify impact areas. Learn how materiality assessments can be used to inform and direct company strategyApply your newly aquired knowledge directly on a pilot case. The pilot case could be your company, a pilot company or a project. ​

Module 5: Communication ​
Learn how to effectively communicate Gender equality, diversity and inclusion strategies and goals to internal and external stakeholders.​

Module 6: Measurement & Reporting ​
Learn how business can measure gender equality, diversity & inclusion and how to include it in companies financial/non-financial reporting​

Module 7: Certification & License

Once you have completed all the lectures, you will be given the opportunity to earn a certification. This is done in two steps:​

Step 1) You will need to show the Course Convenor that you have applied your knowledge on a pilot company, according to Module 4.​

Step 2) You will have to answer a couple of questions.  When you have completed and obtained an approved result of 75%, you will receive a certificate confirming that you can implement Gender Equality into business strategies.   ​

This is included in the course fee;

8-10 week online course​

  • Access to the course for 6 months, which means that you can take the course in a pace that suits you.​
  • Practical action plan for overcoming barriers and seizing the opportunities associated with creating a sustainable and profitable business with key stakeholders and partnerships.​
  • More than 32 course lectures, consisting of videos, text, exercises and inspiration, that you repeat as many times as you want.​
  • Downloadable course material to save.​
  • Concrete step-by-step descriptions and tasks that take you all the way through the course.​
  • Group coaching on zoom every second week where you can ask questions and interact with other course participants.​
  • Closed Facebook group with other course participants for help and inspiration.​
